Castello is the eastern district of Venice. It’s the “truest” area of the city where you can see the unchanged life of Venetians. The route, from “Arsenale” to “Celestia”, will make you discover the relationships between Venetians and the foreign communities, among others the Greek one, but also the ancient connection with the Order of Knights of Malta, which is still alive. The itinerary finishes with the visit of the Church of San Francesco della Vigna and its charming cloisters.
